Lent Prayer Retreat

“Lord, I want to live peaceably, help me to forgive!”

“…so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” Romans 12:18

Lent is a holy and somber time. We remember Jesus’ extreme act of love and forgiveness. We’re honest about our sin and utter need for God’s mercy.

We “find our confession” when we ask the Holy Spirit to show us what God wants us to see. It’s likely that something is amiss in our relationship with God, ourselves, or others.

Are you frustrated, carrying resentment, holding a grudge, expecting others or something to change? Can you welcome God’s help to be forgiven and to forgive?

During this prayer retreat, we’ll reflect on what Scripture teaches us about how to forgive. We’ll seek God’s wisdom for how to “live peaceably” and what prepares us to be and live as forgiving people.

You will have ample time to listen and respond to the leading of Jesus in prayer.

We will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper together.
