The 40 days of Lent gives us an opportunity to examine who and what we are listening to and ask ourselves, “what is shaping and forming my view of life and my imagination?”

During Lent, we take a somber look at what draws us closer to God and what pulls us away.

We listen to understand what inspires us to follow Jesus and what tempts us to heed other voices.

During this guided prayer retreat, we will place ourselves in Mark’s account of when Jesus was transfigured, and God spoke from a bright cloud. We’ll stand with the three disciples who were there and imagine what it was like to hear God’s compelling words for them, and now for us: “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.”
